Think I might get in a bit of trouble at work

They cleaned the floors this weekend.
When they did so, they unplugged the network cables to our printers. They were switched. Nothing was printing.
So they put in an order for an electrician to come and switch the network cables. He will be here in a few hours. All he is going to do is unplug the cables from the back of the printers and switch them. That's it. 3.2 seconds. So I did it. The Q-Tech manager over here needed some prints for his meeting.
So now some poor union guy is going to get a few hours pay and not have anything to do.

As a union employee they are quite used to this, don't worry about it.

I'm surprised that I don't need one to turn off and on my monitor. But I cannot move my monitor without calling a "qualified" electrician. It's a union thing. I don't understand. Of course I also don't care.
It's silly. The Q-Tech manager called the maintenance dept and told them he wiggled a cable and it started working again so it's all good now lol.
