Think i have a trojan

A friend has one for sure her msn will sign on and send everyone game.con. Which i knew was a virus and i downloaded and scaned and it was a trojan which tried access or make server.exe


anyways i ran it virus scanner pops up again. Widows gives an error about unable to access server.exe. Now did my virus scanner stop it from infection or is in the back round doing its dirty work?
 
it found stuff but just general spyware stuff

i dont think i have trojan but who really knows
 
boot up into safe mode then try running the scanner. . .if it cannot get it from there, then it has attached itself to some critical windows process, and that my friend, is a whole another ball of wax. . .then you might try running a scan upon boot
