so i notice in everst and cpuz even though i have upped the voltage for the core in the bios it reads 1.18 in both. I think this bios version is a bit whacky - however i think it is the only one that supports SLI for my board the gigabyte x58-ud3r which later had SLI support added to the bios..

2 things so far.

choosing 21x multiplier turns on turbo... turning off turbo exiting the cpu screen and returning shows 20x again

vcore does not actually work? maybe i should try auto?

if vcore adjustment does not work then i would RMA the board. I would not use auto, i have seen auto push 1.5V+ into a i7 when trying for 4Ghz+ which is way too high.
