Think i can present this card after negotiating a price on a car?

The goal with this would be to try and negotiate an offer better than what is on the card... if you can't get it, then whip out the card and say you'd like to go for that instead.

Either way, don't buy one of their cars just because you can get $1000 off. Get it because you want it.

Well i know, i picked out one that i want.... FMV price is $900 below what the sticker is, invoice is $1200.

why not research getting an X-plan membership?

there are various "partners" of Ford that if you are a member (like a club membership), you are entitled to signficant discounts provided the dealership participates.

I was able to get my 01 Cobra through this... the dealership wanted to charge me 200 off sticker price, and then I found another dealership that was willing to honor the x-plan price... it was 300 below invoice. I wound up saving about 2k on the vehicle this way.

just a thought!

Up here, if you have AAA you can print out a certificate which will enable you to purchase the car at like $100 above invoice. I don't know if it's available in Florida.
