Things you learned from video games

If you jump from an incredible height, you will die upon impact. If, by some chance, you land in water, no matter how shallow, you will live and take zero damage.

you have to shoot things like alot...sometimes even 2-3x with a rocket launcher for them to die...and health packs are the bomb!

Pushing you into lava and hearing you scream is incredibly humorous and rarely gets old. This is what Quake taught me, lol.

BF2? 🙂

I've learned that you can take 5 bullets to the chest, and then proceed to run a 7 minute mile in full gear, up hill.

Bandages can fix any wound.

Hostages can take a bullet to the head and live, but terrorists can not.

Support personnel carry around ammo for every type of gun every invented, including tank and airplane ammo.

The standard soldier (who oddly enough carries around a parachute) can repack his parachute and use it again in under 2 seconds.

Trees are indestructable.

Water is extremely flammable and you should never drive into it, as it will cause your vehicle to catch fire and explode.

A Magnum sniper rifle can fire through three skulls and still leave a hole in the wall behind said skulls.

One slash from a knife can shatter an entire glass window.

Hostages stand neatly in corners, even when no terrorists are around.

Apparrently, hostages give you cash if you offer to rescue them.

I learned, that my hand numbs after 8 hours of xbox, while i can play on my pc all night and be just fine except my ass will get numb after 12 hours.

Walking on top of a health kit means you are instantly healed.

You have an ability to carry up to 15 guns

Trees > Planes. Touching 1 leaf = crashage!

Hostages will follow everything (limited) you tell them to do.

People in futuristic armor spill blood but with no holes in the armor 😕

Recoil can be a mofo

You can still walk fast (except for AA and maybe some other games) if you get hit

It takes more than 1 shot to kill a man. Unless you got a magnum.

That no matter how much you flirt with the cute elven chick in your RPG, you still don't get laid.

if you can get to the console and know the secret code (noclip), walls loose substance..

oh and apparently you dont need feet to walk around.

I can spin around as fast as I want as long as I want and I won't get dizzy at all.

its these little elements that are going to start bleeding into games....

it should be that if you look down, and you dont see your feet, but its sunny out... you should lay down your gun and forfeit due to hallucinations...

and if you really were in ravenhelm, the creatures that come jumping over buildings and climb walls... yea, they would really kill you..

In FarCry you take >75% damage even falling 5 feet, it seems 😛
