Probably lots of things, but being a guy, I almost certainly failed to notice the extremely subtle and well thought out hints. I tend to rely a lot more on the nonverbal communication, it is a lot more reliable where women are concerned.

Women are different than men. When a man see's a woman he is attracted too he talks to her, which shows HEAVY interest from the start. A woman is different, she'll wanna linger around you, kinda beat around the bush and gradually build that attraction.
