Things to do list maker?

i need something that can keep track of things to do each day..... either a program on the computer.. or maybe is there some palm device/application that can do this? Im not specificly talking about a schedule maker...

Here is a freeby (shareware); it's called Task Plus. It has banner ads, which you can easily get used to and ignore, and once and a while it'll ask you to register, but you can keep using it forever [?] at no cost.
I use it; has easy learning curve and can print multiple reports, etc. Comes with help file / manual.

Site also offers Task Plus Personal & Professional, but no need to get them unless the freeby isn't sufficient.
