Things to do in St. Louis???

I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow for 5 days, what the heck is fun or cool to do there?

Good strip clubs? 😀

Good Food?

You could visit the Arch and go to Laclede's Landing. If you're into baseball, you could go to a Cardinals game (assuming they're at home). Cheesecake Factory is a pretty good place to eat and I've heard that Mike Shannon's is as well.

Isn't Cheesecake Factory everywhere? Maybe I'm just so used to them being around LA.

Forest Park is a great place, Arch is fun to see.

City Museum if you are with your girl and feel like acting like kids (it truly is the world's coolest playground)

laclede's landing has lots of clubs, venues, and resturants.

The U-city loop is also a hangout spot.

City Museum was great for my lady's birthday. I'm 22 and she's 19. After City Museum we went to the Science Center for a while and watched an IMAX movie about fighter pilots.

Great way of spending a birthday.

Yes, Cheesecake Factory is everywhere, we have 2 of them here in suburban Cleveland.

I dunno.....I had never heard of it until I went to Chicago. If you want a different recommendation, how about Spaghetti Factory on Laclede's Landing....happy now? 😛

wow, what a coincidence, i'm visiting my gf in st. louis from 6/15 to 6/18. there's another thread about st. louis (but this one is more specific about what to do): http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...atid=38&threadid=1577983&enterthread=y read the long post by CaptnKirk (how do i link to a specific post?)

so far we've walked through forest park and the zoo (zoo is awesome btw.. i'm surprised it's free) and ate at the delmar loop (smoothie king and thai pizza.. the smoothie was eh, nothing like jamba juice, but the thai was good). now i'm looking for a breakfast place. wish i had a car, but metrolink is pretty convenient.

what are some good places to eat? something characteristic of st. louis..

Need to check out the arch on a nice windy day while there. You ride on a elevator that tilts as it goes up to keep you level and when you reach the top its a tight fit. But go on a windy day so that you can look out the window to the ground and watch the ground sway side to side. I thought that was fun IMO

DAmn, I can't believe no one mentioned the Anheiser(sp?)-Busch brewery! Take the tour -> get drunk on free fresh beer
😀

BTW, you mentioned strip clubs? Take the 64 east about 10 min into Belleville check out Larry Flint's Hustler Club.😉

Oh yeah, Delmar Loop can be fun too. It's up by STL-U and Cicero's or Emo's both have some of the best pizza EVAR.

Go to a Cardinals game. Go to the City Museum. I hear it's really fun. (It's not a regular museum, it's hands on, crawling around, fun stuff.)
