Things to do in Singapore

I am heading over to Asia in a couple of weeks and have a good 7-8 hour stop at Singapore, ideas about things to do?

take the cab out to orchard road, that is the main street where all the shops are.

If you are hungry, go check the food court in takashimaya shopping center (its located at the ground floor). Lots of food to choose and decently priced.

They're called Singaporeanese. If you're American you have every right not to get caned by simply whining so do as many bad things as possible. I'd be singing and watching porn.

the storm in Taiwan completely screwed my plans of seeing Singapore, my flight was 12 hours late 🙁 reached sing at mid night

btw AT on dialup here in India is SLOWW

Go to Newton Circle and stuff yourself with great street food especially the seafood. Then, I would head over to the Raffles hotel for a genuine Singapore Sling. If your under 18, go shopping and eating. This is a great place to try Durian(stinky fruit but some say taste like heaven) or Chinese Hainan chicken with scented garlicky rice. I was told that Singapore has a nice military museum but I cannot confirm.

Oh, yeah - prepare to perspire...
