Things to do in Oahu...?

goin to hawaii for the first time and staying in Oahu for about 5 days.... what are some must do's ??

Is it best to book things (activities) once i get there? or in advance before I go? I was assuming it would be best to do it once i get there, but some of my friends are doing it before we even get there...
 
i have never been to that island, but check out the Pearl Harbor Memorial, The Polyneisan(i know sp.) cultural center, diamond head, the north shore, waikki beach, makapu'u point...
have you visited gohawaii.com yet? hth!
 
i agree, Polynesian Cultural Center, waikiki beach.

any possibility of taking a flight to the Big Island for a day? it's def worth it.

just checked out gohawaii.com... got some ideas, is it best to book the activities before I go? or once i get there

What are you looking to do? Are you an outdoors person, or are you a partying night-life type? Oahu has a bit of both...

mostly outdoor...not too interested in partying in hawaii
 
That beach not that far from Honolulu where you can snorkel on the reef with the fish..and feed them too........can't remember its name. Pretty neat though.....
 
Lots of good places to hike, you can search online for more info. You might enjoy kayaking or just hanging out at the beach.

Oh, and visit an "ABC store" if you can find one 😉
