Things to do in DC

I just booked a last minute deal on Travelocity for this weekend. I'll be in DC through Monday afternoon.. Besides all the Federal attractions, can anyone suggest some fun things to do in DC our the surrounding areas?

i just went to the naval academy today.. that was pretty cool to walk around and check out the buildings.. there's not a whole bunch to do though.. john paul jones crypt, a small museum.. it's commencement week, so lots of midshipmen walking around in their uniforms, and of course a bunch of girls walking around dressed nicely...

lol there's the model ship gallery at the naval academy; I don't know how but we spent like a full hour in it...and absolutely no one else came in during that time. The museum thing above it is pretty cool too. I think you can mostly a full week on in DC just doing the obvious stuff. It's a shame you weren't there for the cherry blossoms; walking around the lake by the Jefferson monument is really cool. Make sure you see the Korean memorial at night too though, it's really amazing.
