How long are you going to be staying? Go visit downtown Ft. Worth at night if you can (especially on the weekends). Lots of bars and restaurants as well as people to see.

Garcia's and Esperanza's are great Mexican food restaurants (owned by the same family). Try Esperanza's Tres Leche cake if you can.

Texas de Brazil is pretty good if you're into meat (and willing to spend the money)...just bring a big appetite.

Melting Pot is another good restaurant from what I hear.

You can hang out at Deep Ellum if you're in Dallas.

I am going to be there for a week. ;)

As I said, we have the Stars game on Tuesday and the TCU Football game on Saturday that week already planned. Everything else is play it by ear. :)

hahaha, I am not conservative. I am in a very conservative area though. That said, nekkid bars aren't my thing. I have better things to spend my money on. ;)

Where I come from it is not called Trolling is called Night clubbing.... and I was cracking a joke. Been to Dallas many many times. Been to the T-bars with my girlfriends and have had a blast. We have gone to the downtown Dallas area and they have some great little pubs and clubs to hang out at that are alot of fun too.

But I'm a party Gal... so it was just natural to put in my .02 on this one.

My suggestion would be to just go online and look up Dallas. They probably have an array of things listed for visitors to do and visit.

Have fun on your Vacation baby.

Heh I remember when there used to be an arcade here that allowed for 6 hours of unlimited play for $5. That was back in the early-mid 90s. Too bad the place shut down.

Wasn't in Arlington was it?

Yep it was in Arlington, TX off of Little Rd. I think it was called Texas Games or something. I just remember it was always packed on Friday and Saturday nights.

I was quite the regular there back in the days, still live minutes away from it. I ran the Street Fighter tournaments, I made quite a bit of $$ on those. :)

Small world.

Depends on what you are into. Museums, the DMA, Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Exhibit, which has the houses the best collection of modern sculpture in the US.

Close to that, on McKinney Ave, Hardrock Cafee, lining the streets are various pubs, bistro's, etc. There is also a place called The Magnolia also on McKinney Ave.

If you want a more suspensful night, try, Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Dallas is full of things to do, just look around, start digging. Have fun! :)

If you go to the Hooters in Arlington, TX on Little Road, you get 2 free beers. They were denied a liquor license by the City and were told they couldn't sell beer. They got around it by giving it away. Just remember to tip the Hooters girl and you'll get more beer free. ;)

Try and hit the observation tower that is part of Regency hotel. Great view especially at night: Pic of Tower

It is within walking distance of the 6th floor museum and JFK area. But for the love of all that is holy DO NOT GO TO THE AQUARIUM OF SUCK MY $ AWAY. It is a friggin ripoff at $15ish to get in and is lacking in all things aquatic. How they got away with calling it an aquarium I will never know, but I'm thinking of getting in on the "aquarium business" and opening an exhibit to my sons gold fish bowl for $15. :p
