Saturday:
Came in late from the travel, had some Lou Malnatis deep dish. Overall pretty good, their selection of toppings sucked though, they really need to add some awesome toppings like... Goat cheese or Sundried tomatoes, or something with more flavor. All they really had was sausage and pepporoni and 1 or 2 other standard items. The crust, however, was the best part of it though. Hands down, delicious stuff.
Sounds to me like they know exactly how to do it!

Just recently got back mid-week. Had an awesome time in Chicago.

Afterwards took an Uber to Hopleaf and met with Platypus and had some great beers. He's a friggen awesome bloke to have a beer with and has a way cooler job than me.

Hey, really glad you enjoyed it! Hit me up if you're back in town.

Was in Chicago for the Marathon last weekend, great time. Friday afternoon after flying in and going to the expo, we went to LYFE Kitchen for lunch. Friday night went to the Cubs first game of the NLDS and had a good time. Went to some Mexican place just to the right of Wrigley before the game.

Saturday went to a friend's house and had brunch on his rooftop(could see the Chicago skyline) for a bunch of us runners. After we went to Millennial Park and checked out Cloud Gate(The Bean) to meet up with another group of runners for pics then met up with a long time friend since 5th grade who was also running the marathon. Had a pre-marathon pasta dinner at Seven Lions for my running team.

Sunday, marathon went really well. Crowd and volunteer was great. Went to Bull & Bear for a post-marathon party then went to Lou Malnati's for dinner then Ghirardelli chocolates for ice cream.

I flew back on Sunday night while my friends stayed and took the architectural boat tour on Monday.

Fun trip!
