kimchee... my pal's mother makes that stuff everyday and holy cow does it stench up the place. I'm not korean but I kinda developed a liking to spicy kimchee.
Stinky tofu ranks up there for me. Can smell pretty bad, but taste surprisingly good. Certain cheeses too. While this doesn't exactly qualify, Japanese Natto beans (which are sticky, goey and are the absolute most horrid tasting stuff I've tried) is an acquired taste that half of Japan loves and the other half absolutely hates.
