Stinky tofu ranks up there for me. Can smell pretty bad, but taste surprisingly good. Certain cheeses too. While this doesn't exactly qualify, Japanese Natto beans (which are sticky, goey and are the absolute most horrid tasting stuff I've tried) is an acquired taste that half of Japan loves and the other half absolutely hates.

Pickled Eggs! My recipe involves cloves, celery seed, garlic, salt, vinegar naturally...

The eggs, once fully pickled, are a grey-green color...and the smell when they're in the jar will burn the back of your eyes if you inhale too deeply
