Alright, I was watching "Enemy of the State" on Saturday and I got to thinking which scenario is scarier:

That the movie is correct and our government has the ability to effectively monitor us. That they have the ability to read a newspaper from orbit, listen to our phone calls, read our email or even monitor this posting. And that all of this is controlled by a small group of people out side of the government (like the X-files.)

Or

The movie is wrong and our government is actually run by politicians who wouldn't know there ass from a hole in ground.

being a junior member you obviously don't realize that this is a topic often disscused on this forum.....anyway here's my position in a nutshell:

goverment BAD

people GOOD

Normally I would tend to agree but with all of the fun stuff that is happening else where I really hope that OUR government has there eyes and ears open. Personally I would give up an ounce of privacy for a pound of security.
