Things that I didn't realize....

For the past six months, 30 Seconds to Mars has been in regular rotation in my car. I just bought the cd on a whim. It is a pretty damn good first album for a band. On to my point, I decided to look for some of their videos today and found them playing on Last Call with Carson Daly. The lead singer looked strangely familiar. He had longer hair so I couldn't get a really good look at his face.

After doing a little searching I came to find out it was Jared Leto. From Requiem for a Dream. I had no idea he was in a band. That makes two good projects he has worked on. Requiem for a Dream is one of my favorite movies and 30 Seconds to Mars is one of the few bands around today that isn't just a toss away band. Eat your heart out Russel Crowe and Keanu Reeves. A lesser known person has put together a more popular and better band 🙂

I hope to see Jared in some better movies also. Panic Room was a disappointment to me.

im with you on this. 30 seconds to mars is awsome. i saw them this summer. and i loved the,. i want another album. I also didnt realize it was jared leto from requiem. that movie ruled also

Heh.. I agree with you on Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar. They suck..

ugg, i saw them in concert and i thought they were pretty bad. That was the first time i listened to them. So i gave them a second chance and downloaded a few songs but that didn't change my opinion one bit

You piqued my curiosity about the band with this thread earlier so I just checked them out on Craig Kilborn. I can't say I care much for 30 seconds to mars. I guess the music is harder than for my tastes. Even watching Jared Leto was a disappointment! He's normally a cutie but with the heavy eye makeup and highlighted hair, he just looks like he's going too much for the rock star look and it's very unbecoming.
