I installed it yesterday. My NIC (ORiNOCO USB Wireless Card) doesn't work, and my sound card (Herc. Game Theater XP) is flakey.

I think you're referring to the compatibility that XP uses, meaning you can run programs in 95, 98, NT, or 2K compatibility mode.

I have a sensura3d based card (santa cruz) and it has only finally worked flawlessly now that I am in XP.

 
The GTXP drivers have some bugs that don't jive well with XP. 🙁 There are new ones coming out soon tho.
