You really must take what a politician says with a grain of salt. I've found they always slant things to whatever they need.

While your comment is certainly true, it is shameful that our expectations have fallen so far. Political spin is one thing, but a full-scale, coordinated campaign of deceit to justify invading another country should be way, way, way over the line by anyone's standards.
