Question things I can do on a rooted andriod

Greetings,

I have a android phone which I rooted.
I want to disable/block/remove as much bloatware as I can and then lock it back.
I have no intention to use any of the google apps, and I intend to get what I need via direct apk install or f-droid.
any ideas? I thought of blocking data traffic to installed programs I cannot uninstall and force them to stop, however I don't know if it will be persistent after I relock it.

You can remove most bloatware using adb without rooting. I used to root but don't do it anymore because it disables the payment apps.
