I have a regular fanbus in my case right now (one with protruding knobs).

I just bought this case and need a new Fan Controller that will be able to fit in either a 5.25" or 3.5" bay and still have the panel be able to slide up and down.

I saw this over at Xoxide but I don't really need the LCD display as I already have one.

Any suggestions?

As a cheap solution you could mount your current fanbus differently. Move it back to where the knobs don't interfere with the door. It probably won't bother you aesthetically since you can slide the door over it when you aren't using it 😀
Every drivebay-mounted fan controller I've seen either has obtrusive knobs or an LCD screen.
