Thin client as file server?

I have a network drive hooked to a Linksys WRT54G to store files on my home network.
Would it be possible to use A HP t552 thin client to access that drive over the internet when I’m away from home.

I guess what I’m asking is can I use this as a file server

Welcome to AnandTech Forums.

If your Home Network is configured to provide access through the Internet to the drive.

Any computer that runs application that can access the Internet and interface with Windows Network would be able to access the drive.

The actual specs of the computer that is used for the accessing are not relevant as long as it has an application as mentioned above.
