Hi all!

I have been thinking of this little thing for awhile..
I am quite annoyed of all the noise my new Duron setup makes, and also the instability caused by too high temperatures.

So my idea was to get a small fridge/freezer and mount the comp on a shelf or something clever like that. And maybe get short cables for the keyboard aso and drill small holes for them in the door.

Would this not work? I am sure that the humming noise from the compressor is more silent than my current setup, also the thing would run incredibly much cooler.

Has anyone tried this? Or seen anything like it?

Ideas are truly appreciated!

Heh heh heh. I threatened to do that once and my wife told me "NO". I do not get that from her much so I try not to think about it too much. :)

Well it is a good idea isn't it?

But do you have any idea what happens to the other peripherals when they are cooled?

How about condensation and such?
