Fantastic! They got so many things right when they made those two games that a top-notch modding community was virtually guaranteed. Another of my long-term "full campaign mod" favorites was Thief 2X:-

If you're playing Thief 2 for the first time, HD-Mod is here (and for Thief 1, here). It basically turns this (original) into this, this, this, this, etc) and is one of the few HD packs I'd recommend out of the box for keeping true to the original art style. GOG version is already "TafferPatched" (ie contains all the latest DX9/10 alternative community renderer (original was DX7), is DRM-free, widescreen resolutions selectable in-game, adjustable FOV, etc), and the HD pack is aware of all that stuff.

Not to detract from this, but there's also the Dark Project which is a free open source recreation/quasi sequel to the thief games using the Doom3 engine. I've been meaning to spend some my non-existent free time on it.

I might pick up the GOG version though.

I picked up Thief 2 a ways back when GOG had a sale. I have been playing old titles I used to love, lately, like I am some kind of hipster or something. This really enhances the game, so thanks much for posting this.

I need to do a search and see what is available for Delta Force Black Hawk Down. Another old schooler I have very warm feels for playing.
