Thick paint for rough plywood

I'm working on building a bed platform for my truck bed. I want to coat my relatively rough plywood with something to keep down any splinters when I put an air mattress on it, and make it easy to clean when I am using it as a table earlier in the evening. Any recommendations on materials? I think I'm essentially looking for a garage floor coating that also adheres well to wood, but I'm unclear if I want acrylic, or 1-part or 2-part epoxy. Only have about 30 sqft to do, so a gallon of anything should be enough.

Two part epoxy is going to be the most durable. I'd still hit it with filler and sand it before the paint.

Would spray-on bedliner be a consideration? It could eliminate sanding and filling and hoses clean.

Yeah I had thought about rubberized undercoating spray, and spray-on bedliner would probably be a superior option to that. But I don't really want the abrasiveness with the air mattress on it. Looking for something thick but smooth and glossy. I'll have to shop some 2-part epoxies.

Elastomeric paint.

Now commonly sold by the gallon, in any color you like.

I'd be thinking about a fiberglass gelcoat finish. Maybe use thinner plywood form and a foam core to cut weight down since it's going to be in/out as a tabletop. Think building big surfboard.

Some good thoughts. I've actually settled on oil-based wood boat deck paint. Was leaning toward the 2-part epoxy, but it sounds like most of them get pretty rigid and I'm not sure how that'd work on flexible plywood.
