Didn't AT get their 6800XE and 6600 higher than that? I forget now, & i'm too lazy to check 😱 EDIT: THG was using stock cooling tho, not the Tuniq...

That really seems to be the ceiling for 90nm AMDs these days tho, around that 3-3.1Ghz mark...bring on 65nm 😀

I don't think that's really the point, which was to take the two flagship processors and see what could be done withe them on air with stock cooling...
