It is interesting that he used an Ultra and not a GF3. The 11.x and 12.x drivers are designed for the NV20 line of cards and not the NV10 line of cards.

I agree. Would be nice to have both. I'm going to put in the 12.10 and compare versus the 12 and the 11.1 tonight on my VT G3.

It would have been nice to see how the 7.5x series would have performed as these are known to be a bit quicker than the 6.6x series. Never mind.

The 7.xx series were meant for the laptop Geforce 2 GO. The 10.xx and 11.xx and 12.xx are meant for the rest of the cards to run DirectX 8.

The results aren't as good as I hoped they would be. :(
Still, it's only the initial release of beta unsupported drivers. I'm sure things will get better.

nvidia is apparently gonna release official drivers next week, 12.30 I believe -- barring any unforseen issues.

GRRRRRRRRR...my 3D glasses didn't work because of the 6.50 drivers, those drivers didn't let my ELSA 3D REVALATOR GLASSES to be used with my ELSA GLADIAC GeForce 2 GTS...:|!! Well i installed the old drivers and it still didn't support it, well at the end i still got it to work, there were instructions on how to install manually since ELSA was aware of the problems...damn drivers!! well my 3D glasses broke somehow on the second day...it just stopped working, RMA ed it and still waiting to get my money back...got 128MB instead...:D
well the newest 12.20 drivers are SLOW AS HELL!!! it makes my unreal tournament buggy...i prefer my oldest drivers which were released in 6/5/00...those seem to go the fastest...and a lot faster...new drivers only allow the frame rate to get to 150MAX but bad thing is that it varies from 4-150fps...old drivers vary from 60-250fps...big difference
