Say hello to 200MB downloads in 5 minutes. And it's gonna get faster, again! :D Currently I'm getting ~200MB/5 min, and it should get to about 300MB/5 min :D. Cool, huh? :p

(No more long waits whilst downloading porn for me :p.)

Have you never heard of MBps?

so what is your advertised throughput now vs. pre-upgrade?

I'm not really sure. I think it was from 3 Mbps to 10 Mbps or something.. More than tripled, anyways.

If it more than tripled, you'd be going from 200MB/5 minutes to 600MB/5 minutes based off of your speeds from the OP...

Who cares about the download when you?re getting > 5Mb? The upload is becoming a real drag for me. 386kb is not cutting it any longer. When it takes me almost 4 hours to upload 300 pictures from a recent vacation, something is not right. 6mb/386kb is a joke. It?s about time they fixed this.

newsgroups ftw

Back when devious would host the top gear stuff i would get 2900k sustained. The 700meg rips would take less then 3 minutes at that speed. This is from the university dorm connection.
