They're here!!! My Oakleys!

If you remember my previous thread, I thought FedEx misdelivered the package to another building here on campus than my dorm. It turns out that the package was delivered just fine, but the front desk people put my OAKLEYS IN THE WRONG MAILBOX. It's a good thing the person didn't check their mail this weekend or my $100 glasses would have been GONE forever.

I am so glad they're here! Silver/Ice Minutes! It's a cloudy day but I think I'm gonna wear them anyway.

Are they regular Oakley's or prescription

Regular. I've been wanting to buy some O's for about a year but I had no reason to until I got my job...I have to drive for 8 hours during my shift.

I need to get myself a good pair of sunglasses (my eyes are extremely light sensitive), & I have no trouble justifying $200-300.

I paid $200 for my prescription glasses, & I intend to wear the sunglasses nearly as often.

If I was buying them just for driving, or something like that, then I'd spend <$50.

Every $10 pair of glasses ive ever owned were either 1) lost 2) broken within 2-3 weeks...

I've owned a pair of Oakley Minutes for the past 2 years now and i have absolutely loved them! Not only do they look sweet, but the lenses are tight! By far the nicest glasses ive ever owned.

i know.. total wastage. thought i would use my flea market 5 dollar knockoffs, but i can't bear to do it:p

and iw asn't kidding, the warrantee on the oakleys is very good. it better be considering the price:)

once u bust up a pair, u replace it for 20 bux:p simple.

I used to own a pair of Oakley E-Wires which I thought was the nicest glasses I could possibly own until I bought a pair of Oakley T-wires which I subsequently thought was the nicest glasses I could possibly own until I bought a pair of Maui Jim Kauai's which I now think are the nicest glasses I could possibly own.

Now I think Oakley is crap... :)

I can't justify spending that much on sunglasses since I usually end up breaking/losing mine.

I've never seen a pair of sunglasses that fit my [extremely] small face better than Oakley Minutes. I love the look of wraparound frames but could never find a pair that fit my small head.

That is why I have no problem dropping $100 on them...they are perfect for me. :)

Genuine Oakleys - $100
Replicas that are so accurate they aren't legal to make, but legal to wear - $10
Having the extra $90 to blow in the bar - priceless

There are some things you really don't need to buy. For everything else, there's WasterCard.

I also love my Oakleys.

I have Polarized Juliets that run about $300 in the stores. Got em for $100 less off ebay and they were brand new and never worn. The blue ice lenses are awesome! :)

Congratulations, you paid $100 for $20 glasses.

Do you own a car? Congratulations! You paid anywhere from $5000 - $10,000 more than the car cost to manufacture, plus interest on your loan. :p
