I can't stand Futurama (though I have forced myself to watch it). It is basically "toilet" humor compared to the Simpsons.

King of the Hill is a mockery of suburban life. It is not right to compare it the Simpsons, which will mock/parody anything that we hold sacro-sanct.

Oh, I don't know if this is true, but I had heard (or read somewhere) that the Simpson's uses four separate teams of writers to come up with episodes. I have noticed a roller-coaster like trend in the quality and humor of the episodes... I have always attributed it to the writers -- some of the teams are funny, and some are lame.

Still, Simpson's rule. I hope they stay on for another 10 years.
