this is just a mini rant, and something i need to get off my chest

i was watching a "new" episode of the simpsons on channel 4 in the UK. it was about someone wanting to kill homer, and they needed the help of sideshow bob.

bart says he's worried about getting killed by bob, and moe say something like "how hard is it to kill a kid" and lenny said "yeah, just slit his throat from ear to ear"

that to me is offensive.

i hope they kill the show

Meh, I still find it much more watchable than about 80% of the drivel that is on network TV these days.

I think he's referring to the fact that the specific line is actually not humorous in any way which thereby makes it just really horrific imagery.

I enjoyed the antics of Bart Simpson when it was a short shown on the Tracey Ullman show, (the only good part of that show) and most of the first season was ok, but after that, it's been pretty much worthless.
