They should have a single player Q3 expansion pack.

Playing with bots is okay for a while but i miss the simple, unoriginal, uninspired single play of Q2.

That's not really what Quake 3 is about though, and I suspect the engine isn't specifically geared towards single player play. Don't worry though, Doom 3 is on the way

I've become a full blown multiplayer slut, myself. It started a little with JediKnight, when I discovered, that even with the clunky interface of the Zone, online play was a blast, much more fun then running around and shooting at the AI. Tribes was exactly the same way, I had so much fun playing that online, I missed out on HL, until I finally went out and picked it up. I really enjoyed the single player experience, but man, HL is the ONLY game I've played every day since I bought it (not counting days away from the computer). Even on a bad modem connection, the multiplayer was still fun. There's nothing like wasting somebody, and knowing there's actually a person controlling them...With the advent of broadband, and better netcode, I think online play is here to stay

And I can't wait
