I've got approximately three months off from university, and it sucks. I'm back at home, and there is nobody here 🙁 They've all gone their own ways.

I wish holidays were shorter. 🙁

also: what's the difference between a holiday and a vacation?
 
Damn, only 3 months.
I've got almost 4, and there's still another month and a half left, but I already want to go back up to my new house, but there will be no one else around.
 
Just wait until you start working and get 1-2 weeks off a year. You'll be begging for 3 months again.
 
oh great. another nerd with no friends. do something! i've had it worse. this fvcking war here has ruined my summer vacation. and i had a really good trip planned that was cancelled! stop whining and do something. there are a lot of ppl here who have been sitting more then a month inside a bunker. think how they feel.
 
DIAF. Vacations are awesome. Making the transition from 3 months off in school to 13 precious days off during the year is tough. Enjoy it while it lasts.

And I Saw OJ said it nicely as well. I know I'm gonna love vacations when I'm working, so I'm making the best of it now while I still have 3 months off.

A holiday is time that the government thinks you should take off.

Let's see you say the same thing once you're out of school and working at the same job for years. I'll look back here in a few years and expect a thread 'Why are holidays so short?'

Yeah, it sounds like someone needs a JOB. Nothing like having to work 40+ hours a week to appreciate the time that you get off 🙂
 
2 weeks a year:disgust: what about all the official holidays, usually have to work most of those, either christmas eve or day, New Years eve or day and half the otherones. One of these days, I'm going to get me one of those 9-5's with weekends and holidays off, and I heard tell of something called summer hours were you take off at noon on fridays.
