They opened a new cyber cafe here in Brussels.
It's a big one, 450 computers !
The ad on the radio says it's the biggest one in the world.
I am sure they are lying and I want to tell them there are bigger ones...
Do you know any in the US (or anywhere else) ?

There is only one thing you MUST do , go there and install RC5 clients cracking for TA on every computer there.

Go take a picture and post it for us. I wanna see what the biggest cybercafe in the world looks like - and lust after it 'cause it would make for one HECK of a gamer lan party location. :D

Here is the link for the pictures (click on "Photo library")

I knew they were lying, they just opened one with 800 computers in New York (42nd street).

Shall I go to the Brussels one and install RC5 on the 450 computers ? :D

I'm much happier kicking back in my chair, wearing whatever I want, drinking whatever I like, and watching TV to boot. If I went on vacation and needed my emails, it would take a matter of a few minutes, I doubt I would want to cruise the net and waste my time and valuable money on these places. I doubt these places will be around in years to come with the way computer technology is taking off, everybody will have a portable computer.

They had some in Boston that went belly up. Really just arcades for elders.

With people having big rigs at home and LAN or high-speed internet capability attacting customers to its high overhead business was difficult I suspect.

Sounds massive though.

The New York one is bigger. Same company did it, though.

Maybe they're just saying "THEY install the largest internet cafes (plural)" whcih certainly is true.

IMHO they don't really look like "cafes" to me. They look like libraries, but then again, even libraries don't have that many PCs. ;)

Yeah those EasyEverything places are massive. Nice though... I visited a couple in London and one in Amsterdam and they had really good rates (especially at night) and pretty nice computers with LCD Flat-panel monitors.

Normally I wouldn't be for a gigantic corporation swooping in to drive all of the little guys out of business, but I had too many crappy experiences at little mom & pop operations with P-100s running UNIX that (believe it or not) crashed ALL THE TIME. I lost so many e-mails in the middle of typing them because of that. EasyEverything was a God-send.
