Hey guys. My wife, her sister, and her friend and I just finished playing Diablo II. They aren't real big gamer types, but the easy click-click way that Diablo works and the group team fighting and the whole character building thing... but problem is we're finished with it. we won it. yay us.
So now I'm looking for another game we can all play. For example, MechWarrior won't work. WAY too cerebral. Way too many buttons. Don't want to frustrate these chicks, who are perfectly normal human beings but just incapable of really learning, you know? 😉
Civilization... too complicated. Command and Conquer, with the whole empire micromanaging thing, is a no go. Do they have Gauntlet (remember, gauntlet the arcade game with the warrior, wizard, elf, and valkyrie?) out on a multi-player PC setup?
They don't like shootemups either. Poor hand eye coordination and they get dizzy and stuff. And I whup them pretty easily so they hate it. Same with Worms... they can't comprehend the ninja rope so it's pointless. And that is just as bad as a shooter for them.
Yeah, its tough. that's why i'm asking. They don't like shooters... unless there is a shooter out there with a PLOT and team play..
AND i say they didn't like shooters but we had Unreal Tournament and we played the Assault missions and they liked that... but we've overplayed all the missions now.
We have pretty good computers, three p4's and an athlon. fast network.
What can you guys recommend?
