They give me 2 RAID controllers

I recently bought a K8V SE Deluxe motherboard that has 2 RAID controllers (a Promise FastTrak 378 and a VIA VT8237). Both are physically part of the motherboard.

I've read the documentation, Googled, searched the forums: I can't seem to get a clear cut answer on which controller to use. I only intend to have one RAID 0 setup (two drives), which is fairly normal. Should I use the Promise or VIA controller (each has its own connections)?

the via would be on a seperate bus from the PCI, potentially offering better performance.

I know the Intel RAID solution and the Promise show almost identical results as far as speed. The main difference is that the Promise seems to lower CPU utilization a little bit. I haven't seen any comparisons with Via RAID, but it's probably a toss up.
