Just looked at the books for my classes, one of them is, and I quote: "Safety, Health, and Environment for Process Technician's" by Charles E. Thomas.

I ask you, what belongs to the Technician?

Yeah, the title's pretty bad, and that's a bad place to make a mistake, but it gets worse. The pages do not go together at all. I feel like I'm reading two different books at the same time. For example, bottom of page 12:

From an experienced technician's point of view, this is a very unusual way to start-up a haz- [end of page]

Top of page 13: Another key safety violation was management's decision to install a jumper line between the... [blah blah blah]

it's not just that page, the whole book is that way!

How am I supposed to learn anything from it when they don't even complete their thoughts on the next page? I want my money back. :p

Better than a book I spent $150 on for a class & the prof. told us the first day that "he's not going to expect us to read it". :disgust:
