the driver doesn't so much sit in the split front couch as sprawl across it. Get in and your lower body instinctively slouches toward the transmission center hump while your left shoulder slumps into the door and left arm naturally perches up on the door sill. That's how you drive the grand marquis — right hand on the wheel, left elbow sticking out the window, legs spread apart and, ideally, your belly drooping over the seatbelt.

lol! :D

That's too bad. What are senior citizens going to drive now? Well, I guess they still have a choice between the Town Car, DTS, or Malibu. :D

You mean oldsmobile?

the old person car of the moment is the Buick Lucerne...but even that one is going to be discontinued soon. My wife's parents won't know what to do. They are on their 3rd Lucerne (that's a whole other story).

Inside line could of just had me do the article instead of sending one of their guys do it on a fresh car. For the program cars (like this one...and yes, I know who they got the car from) going back to Ford it is ok to burn through a set of brake pads and tires, but if that car has to go back into the general fleet, that is highly inconsiderate.

It like that time I posted about when C&D needed some SUV's they didn't have in their press fleet, so I matched their specs and gave them a car I thought would only be doing track testing. That one ended up in MI, after one of their 2000 mile desert excursions. Did I get one mention in the article? nope.

wtf, that car looked like it came from the late 90's. No way that's a 2010.

i gotta admit, when youre handcuffed in the back seat you really appreciate the seats. especially over the newer impala and charger cop cars.

that should have been part of the review. Maybe you can send Insideline a note that you'd like to elaborate on their review in a follow up...best cop car to be arrested with. :awe:

The seats are nice in the civi versions, but most cop cars have the hard molded plastic rear seat. Those suck serious ass.

Has to be roomy enough so you can pull a jacket over your face when reporters are chasing you. Just sayin'. :hmm:

I wonder why seniors tend to drive giant cars.
