I am working with Kindergarteners this week and I keep getting told that ones I have seen are going home sick or they've left before I see them after vomiting.

I feel doomed. :(
Be strong my immune system, be strong.

Anyone have the "stomach bug" recently?

There's little to no hope for you. Kids have the worst kind of germs. I personally think they do it on purpose to eradicate their parental overlords. They just haven't gotten the formula right...yet.

Dude get away from my bed!!!

Just got back from a cleaning this a.m. I felt like vomiting too after the $149.00 bill.

Just hold your breath.

I got hit with it on Sunday night. Was out til yesterday, but thankfully mine was coming out my other end. Son had it first though. We were celebrating the new year when, over the baby monitor, my 2yr old son was throwing up. Then my 5yr old daughter got hit Monday night. From 10pm til around 3am she was throwing up every 30 minutes. She just went to school today. On Tuesday, when I stayed home with her, she would wake up, drink some ginger ale, then fall asleep for another 4-5 hours.

Just got a call from my wife; she's heading home after practically falling asleep at her desk. She was so run down that she got home last night and fell up the stairs to the bedroom.

God, I do love this time of year.

Ahhh the common theme in the story is YOU.
You sure you are not the one spreading it?

"ones I have seen are going home sick"

As a smoker, I am amazed at how infrequently I get sick.

Now that I said that, I'll be in the hospital tomorrow.

That is why they used to not let anyone under 16 visit patients in hospitals. ;) Working in an elementary and middle school daily gives my immune system all the work it needs.

Hmmmm what do they all have in common? Your office. Might be time to wipe that door handle/knob with bleach before you go bleah.

Tell him to sleep in the garage. That's pretty easy to hose out. You're welcome.

We just got an email yesterday from my daughter's school letting us know something is going around and to please be mindful of it.

I think it's a sinus infection problem that's making people sick from drainage. My daughter has it right now, and 1/4 of her class is out with it. Keep washing those hands and avoid rubbing your eyes/nose/mouth.

The last time I got sick, it was because of my second employers kids. We work in his house with his kids running around, he got sick from his kids, and I got wasted shortly after. Turns out little kids have better immune systems (for certain things at least) than adults, so a 5 day cold is a 2 week paralysis for us old'uns.

Not sick yet this year, although I did fake a sick day yesterday...
