Ok, I stand corrected but mine aren't and I've never seen them in any place I've lived that are. All underground here.

Since I use VOIP and we are the primary contact for my wife's 93 year old grandma (in the old folks home) I tried to escalate the issue to emergency status. they told me last night that someone would be here before midnight. didn't happen.
I guess it was a good excuse to take the day off work.

Gotta admit, they are more commonly run underground here as well, though I saw a new housing development (about 9 months old) that had many houses with lines strewn arcoss the fence. 😕
