Anyone else playing this game? They recently went out of Alpha and is in Beta stage. Decent game if you like PVP, they also lowered the game price to $15.

pretty common practice for non-big game developers to do something like this nowadays

they have a pool of chosen closed alpha/beta invites, then allow people to buy keys if they weren't part of the original chosen group
