Thesis help !!!

i have spent a whole month and frustrated on coming up with a thesis topic to do .....
im sure everyone has done one already, would any mind to lend some ideas ??? something on the lines of software development ... blah blah

i was thinking of smart cards, but theres already too many around and i dont know how to make it better ...

You might get some helpful and non-sarcastic replies if you give people something more to work with, such as your degree and some of the areas you're interested in.

Your vague and unfocused plea for help makes it awfully hard to restrain all the superficially clever sarcastic responses that spring to mind. Must . . . resist . . . cutting . . . remark!

A thesis? Haven't started any research yet? I'm starting my masters in Jan and already have an RA position setup and a project to work on. Then the thesis will be on that research. Have you talked to any professors? If you try for an RA position they have projects setup already. Did you have a senior project? What was that on?

I'm working on implementing them at work, but I haven't thought of any brilliant topic yet. Hmmm.

Something about combining biometrics and SmartCard, so that in order to use the card, you have to insert the card, and put your fingerprint on the card at the same time. Yes: A combo SmartCard & fingerprint sensor! Can you develop one?
