These temps seem right to you?

I've been noticing people with XP-90's getting better temps then I am, of course they don't have a dual core Opty OC'ed.

With my SI-120 And a GOOD fan (114 cfm) I get about ~40c idle and ~46 under load at 2500mhz and ~1.375v on the vcore.

Also, how come in CPU-Z sometimes the 2500mhz drops to 2499mhz and then goes back up? But anyway, the main reason for the thread is the temps.

Thanks :p

Likely well over 50% of mobo temp sensors are inaccurate.

Your temps are quite fine.

My Opteron 170@2500 1.45vcore runs 42c full load both core. I use an XP90 with a 1300 rpm fan. The motherboard sensors could be off.

Temps are fine, and anything trying to measure that many calculations per second has a hard job to be totally accurate. If you get over 50C, start to be a little worried. And there is no reason to be stuck at 1.375, you can go to 1.45 without breaking a sweat. I know of many people, including a DFI guy, who leave their boards at 1.55 for ever, no problems, unless they are heat related.
