is it itchy?
Localized to the arm and hand?

Scabies
Foliculitis
Localized contact dermatitis
Viral rash unlikely since you did not have any other symptoms

Bad stuff: tend to be more widespread
Rocky mountain fever
Lymes

Get your affairs in order, then go to Vegas and spend life savings on hookers and blow

That's a rash and you get rid of it by not doing whatever caused it anymore. You can rub some cream on it if there is any discomfort.

Please make $1000 check payable to dank69 and have a nice day.

Did you get any citrus juice on your hand and then go out into the sun? This happens to me every summer when I am squeezing limes into my vodka-soda while at the lake.

did you change your laundry detergent lately? An allergic reaction can cause that.

I would like to see pictures of the back of everyones hands for comparrision
Blindingly white, with easily-visible blue veins. Cursed ball of fusion in the sky!

No spots though.

Well, every few weeks I do get some odd speckling showing up on part of the back of my hand, close to my thumb. No idea why, and it goes away on its own pretty quickly, probably after less than an hour.

Definitely Lupus

I can tell by the pixels, and having seen a lot of Lupus in my time.

That is the most hilarious thing I have ever read in my life. Ever! Not kidding or being sarcastic at all. Total gut buster

Anyway at the opening poster,

Does it hurt or does it itch? Any new drugs you've been on? New gloves, lotion, powder or any sort? Any other symptoms?

If it hurts, likely infection or vasculitis. If it itches think allergic/hypersensitivity reaction to something or viral exanthem (viral related rash). Anyway, I'd watch it for a week or 2 and keep an eye out for other symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, joint pain, swelling anywhere etc etc. If it persists for like 2 weeks go in and have someone look at you. If it changes or you develop other symptoms go in and get looked at. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry.

@jjsole
Its never laundry detergent by the way.

Doesnt hurt, doesnt itch, its only on my right hand and doesnt go farther than my wrist. I did use a new lotion but I put that on my parts of my body and its no where there. It started off redder but its a bit brown now.

You were right. I went to the derm today and the first thing he asked me was if I squeezed any limes or anything. I said I couldn't remember but I went to go eat with my dad afterwards and realized I did when I ate with him last Saturday. I squeezed lime into my soup and I went tanning about an hour later. I used the napkin to wipe my face to and and theres a burn spot on my chin.

How long did it take for yours to go away?
