I think he's right when he says that some people hate President Bush so much that they take any opportunity to attack him about anything. you don't notice when the right plays that game because you're more likely to agree with what is being said. i think it's insensitive to pretend there hasn't been a very real loss, but i think to put blinders on to the political implications (like we did with 911) would be foolish. 911 was a success because we allowed the government to turn it to their advantage. we lost our heads and we lost rights. obviously this is different because we haven't been attacked, but we need to remember the lessons 911 taught us.
