I cant keep it running without the ignitor on it, any ideas?

sounds like the plug is burnt out on it and needs the ignitor to keep it hot and the truck running. Try changing it then try again? Never owned a nitro though.

Sounds like you've got a bad plug or the engine is running to rich. Lean it out a bit and get a new plug.

Slowly lean it out. Make sure the engine is getting up to temp. Blow a hairdryer on the head if needed.
