These Error Messages Keep Appearing in Event Viewer

Running XP Pro. I must say it does run like a champ, too. However, the following error messages appear frequently in the System subfolder in the Event Viewer: Source: Ultra, Event: 9, Description: The device, \Device\Scsi\ultra1, did not respond within the timeout period.

And this Warning also appears: Source: disk, Event: 51, Description: An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.

And, this Warning: Source: PlugPlayManager, Event: 256, Description: Timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of "Connections Tray"

Now, I have not noticed any performance problems of any kind, but I'm curious. I figure these things are noted for a reason.
