The Kleenex commericals that have the therapist on the streets that talks to random people just get me every time. No matter what person he is talking to on his couch.... i start to cry when i see them.
I have to say these are the best commercials on TV now.
kleenex.com
Even the website has the same thing.

anyone else like the commericals?
(am i just being overly emotinal for some reason?! 😀 😱 )

Must be the hormones. 😉 Start milking it for all its worth now. Get your husband to go for midnight pickle and ice cream runs. 😉 😛

oh come on you stoopid boys. 😀
i am not knocked up! sheesh... i am just so emotional when i see these wonderful commericals.

I guess i love them because they are honest and true.
(or they could be totally scripted with great actors.)

They don't make me cry, but I'll agree with leftyman, they're better than sanitary napkin commercials. They're even better than tampon or feminine deodorant spray commercials! 😉

What gets my wife is the Pedigree dog food commercials for dog adoption with the dogs in the pound.

"My name is Archie. I'm a good dog, and I just want to go home."

i remember seeing one of these ocmmercials for the first time and i didnt tear up but it was very touching.

i felt emotional parts of me stir inside - until the end when it was a freekin commercial for kleenex. lame.

What was this commercial from the 80s? : There is a song playing with the lyrics "She's daddy's little girl", a middle-aged guy's daughter is getting married and dancing with him, and he remembers when she was a little girl and standing on his shoes while they danced. That one always moved me when I was a kid (I was born in the late 70's)

I'd like to see that again and see if it still gets a reaction.

Not a big step for feminism, this thread.

i am not a feminist... so that is ok. In a lot of ways, feminism is way over-rated and femi-nazi's make it bad for other women.

You're preaching to the choir. I was just pointing out that the topic reinforces the stereotypical view of women as overly emotional. But I suppose there's a little truth to every stereotype, so maybe it doesn't really matter.

Was this maybe a Holiday Inn commercial? I remember this from maybe the late 80s or early 90s. it might just be two similar commercials though

And the Kleenex commercials are touching, but definitely have not made me cry. I saw the one with the guy talking about his dad on a busy street.
