These are the only Forum Rules that I have found. Are there more?

Common sense is a good tool to use when posting as well. If you think the content is iffy or unsuitable, then it probably is.

Have fun. :)

That one rule pretty much covers it, right??? Are you still complaining about your locked thread in Hot Deals???

Psycoholic:

Not really complaining, just trying to find out what the rules are. The post that you referred to did not violate any rule that I have found. A forum should not be like walking across a land-mine field wondering when your communication will be locked. Most of us probably don't have that much time to waste to have our messages locked-up. From what I have read, it appears that I am not the only one who has experienced this problem.

Oh well, I supppose it is pretty much seat-of the-pants learning here.

You can also take examples from the locked threads you do see as a guide to help you know what the mods consider lockable material material and what's not.

If you have a question or concern, you're always free to pm the mods or shoot an email their way. :)

Your post in Hot Deals did not belong in the forum it was placed according to the reasoning of the Moderators. I would have to say that I and others would tend to agree.

You're making this more sound more difficult than it is.

syseng,

We have already told you that your thread was locked because it was NOT a hot deal. What part of that are you failing to grasp? Now, stop wasting our bandwidth beating a dead horse.
