They really were all over the place. You can see pretty clearly that they were supporting Trump overall, but they sure did play both sides on many issues. They really did a good job playing the catalyst in our own infighting.

I do worry that the people that were most swayed by this are the same that will not care.

You mean 63M Americans got chumped?

I liked it a lot better when Russian propaganda & right wing propaganda were oppositional rather than complimentary...

All over the place? No. All geared to individual communities with the aim of steering people away from Hillary Clinton.

I know it's a complex issue when dealing with multiple demographics, but the central aim was, and is clear. To influence the election in a way that guarantees Trump winning.

Are you mad that your thread was a duplicate? They were all over the place. Why else would they also run anti Trump ads?

Take note, the pro Bernie and black lives matter pages ran anti-Trump ads to appear authentic, yet to bring about the very polarization they were looking for. Also, many anti-Trump ads were POST election ("not my president"), thus sowing more discord and polarization.

Like I said, this is a complex issue addressing many demographics with one end in mind.

It's not like it was proportional...

Ah man, you got me. If only I had said... oh I did.

Yes, it was very much against Hillary, but, it was also very much about stirring up shit. An angry infighting US is good for Russia.

Someone who is smart & has some time, please figure out a way to find out if any were posted here and bring attention to the people who commented on them.
There must be some kind of image search for this.

I don't do face book now, why would I want to watch the 3400 ads I missed by avoiding it?

I don't either but I recognize that a huge number of people do. The also use youtube, google & twitter-

“It’s a system,” Albright said. “It’s not necessarily magic. It’s social media marketing at an expert level… This is very well executed.”

Big data like Cambridge Analytica enables excellent targeting. Hacking & release of sensitive data discredits the opposition. Complimenting Trump's message of racial & religious fear & division always stirs up White conservatives.

When Trump & his Russian friends looked out over conservative voters what they saw was a sea of chumps & played the poor bastards ruthlessly. Ride the bandwagon! For the MAGA, I'm sure.

Democrats didn’t seem to mind the propaganda when they perceived Trump as the easy candidate for Clinton to vanquish and hoped as the nominee he would throw the GOP convention into chaos.

The American media did not seem to mind the propoganda when it gave them a horse race cover.

Irrelevant
Russia devised propaganda to support one President, Russia ran with those, that candidate won.

It’s not irrelevant. The Russians attacked our democracy and manipulated the electorate by helping a highly controversial candidate defeat a highly vulnerable one. Democrats liked what was happening when they thought it would yield them an easy victory.

Those of us who saw what was happening were thanked for our concern.

It’s called reality. Why did the propaganda switch to a “not my President” narrative after the election? It is because Russia is seeking to sow division. Some of you just can’t bear to face the truth that you’ve been dancing for Putin as well.

Look at you, more speculation about some of "you"

Russia attacked us, has been for years. You wanna play the game of which political party was targeted, ask yourself this, which party benefitted, as was designed. Millions of people on social media shouldn't be using it.

Reality was your first statement in the post I quoted. Then you delve into nonsense about how much Democrats loved it when they were the targets. Well, reality is Cons can't get enough, and every Con I k ow is a Facebook junkie, anyone I know who is not engaged in social media is not a Con.
