Thermoelectric (Peltier?) cooler

Ok, i have here in front of me a thermoelectric cooler/heater, with a very large heatsink attached, and a weird fan. It was part of a small camping cooler, and was attached to the inner aluminum lining of the cooler. i took it apart (couldn't help it), and now im wondering if i can attach this to something to help cool my case.
im assuming that the heatsink pulls the heat away from the actual Peltier device as it is produced, then the fan should cool the heatsink down.
does it produce moisture?
any ideas about where i could place this thing?

depending on the wattage on the thing you could use it between a waterblock and the proc if you had water otherwise not much you can do

There are some CPU Peltier Heatsinks but they have all been proven to suck. I have read reviews for three of them and basically none was really better than the stock heatsinks.

I think there was actually an effective air-cooled TEC CPU HSF made by Swiftech. The problem with all others is that the hot side would be too much for the HSF to cool thus killing the TEC, or the cool side would not be enough to cool the CPU, or condensation.

Yes, cooling your case would cause condensation.
